Palmyra residents can name the town’s forthcoming park

Mayor Michelle Arnold is accepting name ideas for Palmyra’s waterfront park.

Construction on Palmyra’s forthcoming waterfront park will begin the first week of June, and residents are encouraged to send in name ideas to Mayor Michelle Arnold. The yet-to-be named park will be located on Bank Avenue between Morgan and Garfield Avenues.

The project is funded by a grant from the Burlington County Freeholders through the Municipal Park Development program. The projected completion date of the project is July 4.

According to the borough’s website, names for the park can be submitted to Mayor Arnold at [email protected]. For more information on the project, visit http://boroughofpalmyra.com/name-that-park-2
