It Takes a Village NJ looking for volunteers to help elderly and disabled

The group is seeking volunteers who have several hours once a week to visit and help clients.

The local, non-profit organization It Takes a Village NJ is looking for volunteers.

The group is always looking for volunteers who have several hours once a week to visit and help a client.

Officials say typical clients are either disabled or elderly who need help getting groceries, going to the bank or seeing local doctors.

The group provides these services and companionship without charge for those who qualify.

For those who might need the group’s services or who are able to volunteer, call (856) 396–5783 or (856) 722–1085 (evening number), or email the group at [email protected]

More information is also available on the group’s website at www.itavnj.org.

It Takes a Village services Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, Maple Shade, Moorestown, Mt. Laurel and now Burlington.
