‘Women Rock the 19th Amendment at Paulsdale,’ a women’s equality day event sponsored by the Alice Paul Institute, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. Please purchase tickets by Friday, Aug. 24.
There will be music and more to celebrate 92 years of women being able to vote.
Paulsdale is located at 128 Hooton Road in Mt. Laurel.
There will be musical performances by Sara O’Brien and the Community Rocks Kids, a folk-rock band of girls ages three to 14, singing catchy pop tunes written by kids for kids; September, an all female rock band based in Philadelphia; and Girls Rock Philly artists.
A talk and book signing by Tom Moon, author of 1,000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die, will be held.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children if purchased in advance or $15 per adult and $10 per child if purchased at the door.
