Mt. Laurel Township in partnership with the Mt. Laurel Library will be providing seven free concerts this summer. The concerts will be held from 6–7:30 p.m. at either Laurel Acres Park, 1045 South Church Street or the Mt. Laurel Community Center, 100 Mt. Laurel Road. The public is welcome to attend. No registration is needed.
The concert schedule will be as follows:
• Friday, June 28: Jersey Sound Chorus will perform an a capella concert at Laurel Acres Park.
• Friday, July 12: Zydeco-A-Go-Go will perform a Zydeco concert at Laurel Acres Park.
• Thursday, July 18: Musaic will perform a variety and country concert at Laurel Acres Park.
• Friday, July 26: Philadelphia Songwriter’s Alliance will perform a variety concert at Laurel Acres Park.
• Thursday, August 1: Bobby Block will perform a Big Band concert at Mount Laurel Community Center.
• Friday, August 9: Sounds of the Street will perform a Doo Wop concert at Laurel Acres Park.
• Thursday, August 15: Revolve will perform a Beatles Tribute at Mt. Laurel Community Center.
The funds for the concert series were provided by Mt. Laurel Home for Funerals, NFL Films and Wegmans. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor concerts will be held at the Mt. Laurel Community Center.
