Parker McCay, a leading New Jersey law firm located in Mt. Laurel, has appointed Carolyn J. Rutsky as its chief operating officer. The appointment comes a year after Rutsky joined the firm as chief financial officer. In her new role, Rutsky will direct the day-to-day operations of the firm’s three regional offices and over 160 employees.
“Carolyn’s considerable business background and proven operating experience has made her a vital asset to the firm and positions Parker McCay well for the future,” said Philip A. Norcross, chief executive officer and managing shareholder.
Rutsky, of Hamilton, has more than 15 years of executive-level experience in the financial services industry.
She previously served as a vice president at Goldman Sachs and Company, where she managed hedge fund operations and alternative investment accounting teams. Prior to that, Rutsky served in various accounting, regulatory and financial positions at several business and financial firms.
Ms. Rutsky is a member of the board of directors of Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey. She received the organization’s Woman of Distinction Award in 2009 and continues to be involved with the Nottingham Service Unit.
Stephen Mushinski, Esq. current longtime Parker McCay chief operating officer, will refocus his time and attention on current legal matters.
