The BOE will hold its reorganization meeting on Jan. 3, while council holds its meeting on Jan. 7.
The annual reorganization meetings for Mt. Laurel Township Council and the Mt. Laurel Schools Board of Education have been set for early January.
For the Mt. Laurel Schools Board of Education Reorganization Meeting, the meeting will take place on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. at the district’s Administration Building on Mt. Laurel Road.
At this meeting, incumbent board member’s Leigh Ann Erlanger and Melissa will be sworn in for new terms, along with newcomer Anthony Ruttler, Jr.
The board will also elected a new board president and vice president.
For the 2019 Mt. Laurel Township Council Reorganization Meeting, the meeting will take place on Monday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. in the courtroom of the Mt. Laurel Township Municipal Building.
At this meeting, newly elected Democrats Kareem Pritchett and Stephen Steglik will be sworn in to council.
Council will also decide on a new mayor and deputy mayor at the meeting.
