The Mt. Laurel Municipal Utilities Authority will be working on a permanent repair of a section of sanitary sewer piping at the intersection of Union Mill Road and Moorestown-Mt. Laurel Road from Friday, Nov. 14 through Monday, Nov. 17, weather permitting.
During this repair it will be necessary for customers who live west of Hartford Road to limit their water usage to essential use only. This is to prevent wastewater from unnecessarily entering the sanitary sewer system.
The restriction will only be for a limited time beginning on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. through Nov. 16 at 6 a.m. Mt. Laurel’s water supply will not be adversely affected by this repair and remains safe for all uses including consumption. There will also be changes in traffic patterns in the vicinity of the intersection of Union Mill Road and Moorestown-Mt. Laurel Road intersection as well as a posted detour for northbound Moorestown-Mt. Laurel Road.
Customers will be notified of further updates via the reverse 911 system. Information will also be updated regularly at www.mltmua.com.
