The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
An employee of Panera Bread on Centerton Road reported a window on their vehicle was broken out between 12:45 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. on Feb. 24. The vehicle was parked behind the building in the rear parking lot. Damage is estimated at $500.
The operator of a vehicle parked near TGI Fridays on Centerton Road reported someone scratched their vehicle with a key on Feb. 26 at approximately 8:30 p.m. The victim reported just prior to the incident she had a dispute with another driver over a parking space.
On Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted an investigation into suspicious activity at a hotel on Fellowship Road. As a result of the investigation officers arrested a 21-year-old woman from Mt. Holly and charged her with engaging in prostitution. She was released pending a court hearing.
On Feb. 23 at 6:50 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 near Rogers Walk. As a result of the stop officer arrested the driver a 36-year-old man from Philadelphia, and charged him with driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a court hearing.
On Feb. 24 at 9 p.m. Mt. Laurel Police conducted an investigation into suspected credit card fraud at a hotel on Fellowship Road. It was reported that a victim’s credit card was used to rent a room and accumulated $230 in fraudulent charges. The investigation led to the arrest of a 20-year-old woman from Haddonfield who was staying at the hotel. She was charged with credit card fraud, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.
Mount Laurel Police arrested a 54-year-old man from Philadelphia on Feb. 26 for two burglaries that occurred on Fenwick Lane on July 15 and 16 of 2014. He was served with complaints at the Burlington County Jail where he is presently incarcerated on unrelated charges. Bail was set at $50,000 with no 10 percent option.
A guest of a hotel on Route 73 reported a backpack was stolen from their hotel room sometime between Feb. 21 and 26. The backpack and its contents were valued at $330. There was no sign of forced entry to the room.
An employee of the Wawa on Route 73 reported two incidents of theft where a driver received gas and drove off. The first theft occurred at approximately 11:55 p.m. on Feb. 26 when $15 worth of gas was taken and the second theft occurred on Feb. 27 when $20 worth of gas was taken. During the second theft the driver drove off with the pump nozzle still in the vehicle causing damage to the pump. Both thefts are under investigation.
