Mt. Laurel’s Katie Ward appointed to the board of trustees of the Alice Paul Institute

Katie Ward of Mt. Laurel has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Alice Paul Institute.

Ward is a member of the Institute’s Girls Advisory Council, girls aged 13 to 17, who advise the Institute on opportunities for girls in the area and help plan evens for girls.

Ward is a student at Holy Cross Academy, Delran, where she is a member of the student council and editor of the school newspaper and participates in the spring musical, the literary magazine, the politics club and the recycling club.

The Alice Paul Institute’s mission is to honor the legacy of Alice Paul’s work for gender equality through education and leadership development.
