Massachusetts man suspected of murder captured by police in Mt. Laurel

Officers located Glenn Armstrong, age 48, of Blackstone, Mass. at a hotel at the 500 block of Fellowship Road.

The following report is on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:

At 3:13 p.m. on Jan. 12, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on the 500 block of Fellowship Road for the report of a man refusing to leave the hotel lobby.

Arriving officers located Glenn Armstrong, age 48, of Blackstone, Mass. at the hotel.

The investigation determined that Armstrong was wanted by the Massachusetts State Police for failing to provide a DNA sample.

Officers later learned that Armstrong was a person of interest in the murder of his father in Massachusetts. Mt. Laurel Police arrested Armstrong and charged him with being a fugitive from justice. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail pending a court hearing.
