The ladies are holding an Applebees’ fundraiser on Dec. 19 with 10 percent of the proceeds going to the team.
For the first time ever, the Moorestown girls’ softball team will be attending pre-season spring training at Disney’s ESPN Zone. Applebee’s in Mount Laurel located at 1102 Route 73 South, is sponsoring a Restaurant Day on Dec. 19 with 10 percent of proceeds going to the team for anyone who presents the team’s flyer. Attendees must bring the physical flyer to the restaurant.
The boys’ baseball team has attended this event numerous times, but this is the first opportunity for the girls to participate.
In collaboration with The Moorestown Youth Softball Association, the girls are fundraising to help pay for the trip.
