The region is bracing itself for more snow in its future, as the National Weather Service out of Philadelphia has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for South Jersey. The advisory will begin tonight at 11 p.m. and run through 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Starting tonight, the region may see periods of snow and freezing rain accumulating beginning at 9 p.m. Snow will start falling first, changing to freezing rain by midnight. About two inches of snowfall and freezing rain may fall on the region through the advisory.
The weather service warns that untreated roads could be extremely slippery and to use caution while driving during the storm.
