Moorestown proudly represented in St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Emmaline Kenny and Fiona Ferrell, members of the Gibson School of Irish Dance, proudly represented Moorestown in Philadelphia’s 242nd St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Emmaline and Fiona are both in fourth grade at the UES.

It was the girls’ third year performing in the parade, with Moorestown’s own Kathy Orr providing live TV coverage of the event. The Gibson School of Irish Dance, based in Warminster, Pa., is one of the top Irish step dancing schools in the area. Instruction to children and adults is available in South Jersey through Moorestown’s Rec Department.
