PRISM to host Safe/Brave Space training

A best practice training opportunity will take place on Jan. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

PRISM of South Jersey is a Safe/Brave Space for LGBTQ+ Youth and Allies sponsored by First Baptist Church of Moorestown. PRISM is open to LGBTQ+ Youth and Allies as well as those questioning from ages 13 to 18.

PRISM is offering a best practice training opportunity on Jan. 12 led by The Attic in Philadelphia from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A donation of $25 per person is requested. A light lunch will be served. Training will take place at First Baptist of Moorestown. Hazel Edwards will work with PRISM to create the capacity to run sustainable programs that integrate diversity, respect, and inclusion.

PRISM’s mission is to be an outreach that affirms and supports the experiences of LGBTQ+ youth 13 to 18 and Allies across Burlington County. If you would like more information on this program, feel free to email Beverly Allegretti at [email protected] .
