Moorestown eighth graders on a winning streak as part of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association

Eighth graders from Moorestown playing for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association A1 team opened up their regular season at home on Saturday, April 5 by beating Conshohocken by a score of 7–3. It was a great team win for the boys with solid goalie play from Max Blank, a swarming defense anchored by Bobby Garrison, Judah Hicks and Justin Ramos and an efficient offense. Goals were scored by Peter LaDelfa, Kevin Travis, Trevor Jones, Josh Buck, Ryan Pozega and Josh Fauvell posted two with six of the seven goals being assisted. Coaches Andy Hipple and Doug Ingersoll issued a game ball to Josh Buck for dominating the face offs giving the team possession after possession and chipping in with a pretty goal.

The boys returned to action again on Sunday, April 6 when they went to Ridley and came home with a great 8–3 victory and started the season 2–0 in league play. Ridley had beaten the boys in a close preseason scrimmage but Sunday would be different. Ridley tried to intimidate with big physical play but our quick ball movement and unselfish team play proved to be too much for them to handle. Goals were scored by Dante Lucarini, Dan Rohrbach, Stephen Goralski, Fauvell, Pozega with LaDelfa posting three in the first half. Six of the seven goals were assisted and game balls went to LaDelfa for recording three goals and four assists and Blank for coming up big between the pipes.
