The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:
On Dec. 24 a 26-year-old man of Somerset was arrested and charged with theft by deception and false documents. He purchased merchandise with a new Boscov’s credit card application using false information. Total value of the merchandise was $1,258.28. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail in default of $2,500 bail.
On Dec. 24 a 58-year-old male of Pine Hill was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The man concealed two watches from Lord & Taylor valued at $260. He was released on a summons.
On Dec. 26 a 22-year-old female of Tabernacle shoplifted a pair of shoes valued at $19.99 from Kmart, Rt. 38. She was charged with shoplifting on a special complaint. She injured her ankle in front of the store and was transported to JFK for medical treatment.
On Dec. 27 a 55-year-old man of Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with shoplifting. He walked out of Boscov’s Dept. Store with five coats for a total value of $760. He was released on a summons.
On Dec. 28 a 38-year-old woman of Mt. Laurel was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed clothing and handbags in bags from Boscov’s Dept. Store for a total value of $605. She was released on a summons.
On Dec. 30 Boscov reported a shoplifter in custody. Arrested and charged with shoplifting was an18-year-old man of Burlington. He concealed jewelry and men’s clothing for a total value of $676.95. The man was released on a bond $1,500.
On Jan. 1 a 23-year-old woman of Woodbury was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She concealed jewelry and a handbag valued at $464.48 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.
On Jan. 1 Police responded to a complaint of a running vehicle on the side of the road on North Lenola Road and Center Street. Upon checking the driver was asleep with his foot on the brake. The 31-year-old man of Maple Shade was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, uninsured vehicle and failure to produce registration card.
On Jan. 5 a 72-year-old man of Moorestown was arrested and charged with harassment due to a domestic situation. He posted $500 bail with 10Â percent.
On Jan. 7 a 39-year-old woman of Riverton was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She stole two sweaters total value of $239 from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.
On Jan. 10 a 35-year-old male of Burlington was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The man concealed two bracelets, total value of $199.98, from Sears Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. He was also charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe. He was released on a summons.
On Jan. 14 a 48-year-old woman of Philadelphia, Pa. concealed three Yankee candles, three boxes of Godiva chocolate, two candle holders and a pair of Calvin Klein women’s pants in a shopping bag at Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. Total value of the theft $283.45. She was arrested and charged with Shoplifting. She was released on a summons.
On Jan. 14 a 21-year-old male of Williamstown was arrested and charged with shoplifting, possession of CDS Heroin and possession of a hypodermic needle. He stole men’s personal care products at Marshalls/HomeGoods, Route 38 for a total value of $148.76. He was also in possession of CDS and syringe. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail on $1,500 bail.
A 23-year-old female of Williamstown concealed cologne and men’s personal care products at Marshalls/HomeGoods for a total value of $298.75. She has been charged with shoplifting. She dropped the merchandise and fled the store when security was detaining the previously mentioned male and attempted to detain her.
On Jan. 15 a 25-year-old man of Pitman was arrested and charged with shoplifting. He concealed four pieces of electronics valued at $199.96 from Marshalls/HomeGoods, Route 38. He was released on a summons.
