November’s Board of Education election in Moorestown Township Public Schools will be uncontested, as three candidates filed to run for the board’s three open seats, according to the Camden County Clerk’s office.
Incumbent board member Brandon Pugh and board vice president David A. Weinstein are both running for re-election. Pugh has been on the board since his election in 2012, while Weinstein has been on the board since 2009, being named vice president the beginning of this year.
A new candidate, J. “Harry” Fauncel, will be running for the third open seat, which currently belongs to Sheryl Sawin, who is not running for re-election.
The Moorestown Board of Education election will take place alongside the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
