The YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties will hold its Fourth Annual Pedal with a Purpose Spinathon on Saturday, September 17 at the Mt. Laurel YMCA located at 59 Centerton Rd. from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., and the event will be moved indoors in the case of rain.
Teams of cyclists will pedal to raise money for YMCA youth scholarships and access to programs that have a lasting impact. This unique fundraising event combines physical fitness and fun, while meeting the YMCA’s mission of youth development and social responsibility.
The Pedal with a Purpose Spinathon is held in partnership with Reconstructive Orthopedics. Awards will be given to the team with the most monies raised, the most spirited team and the first place team.
New and old bikes will also be collected at the event for youth participating in our Watershed Education by Bike (WEB) program. To register a team, or information about sponsorship opportunities, visit www.ymca.bc-org or call Elise Mac-Bello at (856) 231–9622 (YMCA) x259.
