Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice invites the community to attend its annual benefit food and wine tasting, now known as “Spirits Night at The Mansion,” on Friday, Oct. 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. located in the Mansion on Main Street at 3000 Main Street in Voorhees.
Expected to be popular amongst local VIP’s, this fundraiser is, designed for those interested in enjoying an evening of wine, beer and liquor tasting and food pairings guided by experts in the field. The expected attendance is over 350, and tickets available to public for $60 in advance and $70 at the door.
This event is being held in support of charitable home care, hospice and counseling programs for residents of South Jersey, including Camp Firefly for grieving children. This year major sponsors include: Rothamel Bratton Attorneys at Law, Five Star Senior Living, Heritage Business Systems, Mainline Medical Supplies, McKesson and Sun Bank.
The evening will include over 30 tables of generous tastings of U.S. and international wines and beer sponsored by Benash Liquors of Cherry Hill. Liquor tasting is also available this year. Plentiful food and dessert samplings by many top area chefs, bakers and caterers will also be available.
Local favorites participating include: Harvest Seasonal Grill, Seasons 52, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, The Mansion caterers, Fresh Grill Catering & Paella, Cibo by Illiano, A Taste of Olive, Sweet Eats Bakery and Throwbacks Bar & Grill. Chefs from Lutheran Crossings in Moorestown and Cherry Hill 5-Star Senior Living will also be on hand. Many other local restaurants expected to participate.
There will also be a silent auction, Wine pull, Cash raffle.
