Moorestown BOE member creates scholarship to memorialize 1984 MHS grad

Council votes to introduce tentative 2017 municipal budget

Moorestown Council introduced the 2017 proposed municipal budget at last week’s meeting. The total budget is $24.3 million, a 1.9 percent increase, or approximately $453,000, from the 2016 municipal budget. The township is anticipating $432,247 in additional revenue, and the net difference of $20,753 will be raised through taxation.

Moorestown resident arrested for armed robbery of Moorestown Wawa

On Tuesday, June 13, the Moorestown Police responded to a 911 call at 9:02 p.m. reporting an armed robbery followed minutes later by a silent alarm from the Wawa located at 236 W. Main St.

As soon as the Rev. Ingrid Wengert arrived at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church nearly 12 years ago, she knew the congregation was special. After previously serving at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton and Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Teaneck, she was ready for a new chapter.
