The market will be open every Saturday rain or shine through October 28.
Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio announced that the Burlington County Farmers Market will celebrate the opening of its 11th season on Saturday, May 20 from 8:30 a.m. until 1p.m.
“We’ve spruced up the County Agricultural Center for the opening of our Farmers Market. Visitors can enjoy a new community garden and over 30 vendors who will be offering fresh, locally-grown, seasonal produce, arts and crafts, plants, cut flowers, fresh baked goods, coffee and much more,” said Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio. “We are pleased to welcome back the vendors that have been with us since the market opened as we kick-off the start of a new season.”
The Farmers Market, located at the County Agricultural Center on Centerton Road in Moorestown, features locally grown Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, annual and perennial plants, cut flowers, baked goods and other prepared foods, cheeses, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and unique crafts.
“This is a great opportunity for residents to support our local businesses and enjoy fresh seasonal produce,” added Garganio. “There will be live entertainment and all are welcome to join in on the fun.”
