In his last letter to the Sun, B. Loesch quotes Harry Truman, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”
Does he honestly consider his letters “heat?” Since Mr. Loesch prefers President Truman’s quotes, I will honor that preference with another from Mr. Truman that refers to the “current rulers in Washington” as opposed to the lack of leadership that our country has recently endured.
“Men make history and not the other way around. In periods where there is no leadership, society stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skillful leaders seize the opportunity to change things for the better.”
Let’s leave the biased tiresome rhetoric behind and keep the letters to the Sun relevant to the happenings and events in our great Moorestown.
But I must thank Mr. Loesch for his fine humor and wonderful journalistic sparring.
