Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge invites you to wine and dine in the company of wildlife.
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge wants nature and wildlife supporters to enjoy the three W’s — whiskey, wine, and wildlife! Cedar Run will hold the 18th Annual “Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife” fundraiser on Saturday, May 19 at the Flying W Airport and Resort in Medford from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees will enjoy an evening of wining and dining, all while benefiting the non-profit’s efforts to help injured and orphaned wildlife.
Adults aged 21 and over are invited to sample wine, whiskey, microbrews, gourmet beers, and food provided by premier area restaurants and caterers. Plus, guests will be greeted and encouraged to mingle with Cedar Run’s Wildlife ambassadors — its very own residents — owls, hawks, vultures, and more! Attendees will be enjoying the food and entertainment, as well as knowing they are supporting an organization dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation, environmental education, and habitat preservation.
“Woodford Cedar Run operates the busiest wildlife animal hospital in the state, treating over 4,700 animals per year, and we operate entirely from private funding and donations,” said Jeanne Gural, Executive Director. “Everyone should join us on May 19 and have a great time at our Whiskey, Wine and Wildlife event, supporting our many programs, including those focused on animal rehabilitation, habitat conservation, and STEM-based youth education.”
