I’m Bill Tanski and I’ve been a Medford resident since 1997.
As many residents may (or may not) know, there’s a proposal to eliminate the town’s weekly garbage pick up, in conjunction with other service cuts.
This is incredible, considering the following: In the 10 years between the last census, the town’s population increased a mere 3.5 percent . However, from 2001–2011, the town’s budget increased a whopping 51 percent. This is not only gross fiscal mismanagement, but a betrayal of the faith placed in our town officials.
