November is Prematurity Awareness Month, and in response, the MOMS Club of Medford is collecting donations of new items to put into care packages/NICU bags. These bags will go to parents of premature babies in the Virtua NICU.
The collection will run now through Friday, Nov. 25. Drop off locations include The Boardroom Barbershop, located at 8 Union Street, Murphy’s Market (Tabernacle location), located at 381 Medford Lakes Road, and PJ Whelihan’s (Medford Lakes), located at 61 Stokes Road.
Items being collected include: journals, magazines, sudoku or other puzzle books, cozy socks, mints/gum, hand sanitizer, tissues, chap stick, travel size toiletries and small monetary gift cards ($5). The MOMS Club hopes to deliver these packages in early December to the staff at the Virtua NICU.
