The Friends of the Library will offer thousands of gently used items for sale.
The first used book and media sale of 2018 comes to Burlington County Library from Feb. 22 through Feb. 25.
Once again, the Friends will offer thousands of gently used items for sale, including hardbacks, paperbacks, children’s books, DVDs, and CDs, the majority of which were not available at previous sales.
The sale will run at the following times on the following dates:
· Thursday, Feb. 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
· Friday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
· Saturday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
· Sunday, Feb. 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.
In addition, a preview sale offered to Friends members only will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. Those interested can become a Friends member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family.
During the upcoming sale, shoppers will find a variety of books grouped by genre, most costing just 50 cents to $1 each. The event will include a large selection of sci-fi titles, as well as books about cooking, business, hobbies, crafts, biographies, music, self-help, art, travel, history, religion, and more.
Specially priced coffee table, art and oversized books, some at even greater discounts, also will be available.
The Friends are also selling a selection of of media items in good condition, including music CDs, which will cost $1 each, and DVD movies and audiobooks, which will cost just $2 each.
Those interested can also purchase a Friends logo tote bag for just $10 each, and as a bonus, each bag comes with a $2 discount toward all Friends’ books/media sales.
In addition, the first 300 shoppers to purchase items will receive a $1 coupon that may be used at any upcoming Friends sale, including the next one scheduled for May 31 to June 3.
All proceeds benefit Burlington County Library programming, such as the children’s Summer Reading Program and the Museum Pass Program.
