The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square announces Evesham Mortgage as next major tenant
One of Evesham’s biggest redevelopment projects keeps moving forward, as business officials have announced another major tenant for The Shoppes and Residences at Renaissance Square. RD Management, owner of the shopping center, announced this week that Evesham Mortgage had signed a lease to occupy 12,753 square feet of retail space at the site. The news makes Evesham Mortgage one of the larger tenants announced for the site, where construction still continues.
Evesham Township School District to hold first grade round up for 2018–2019 school year on April 19
On April 19, the Evesham Township School District will be having its first grade round up. According to district officials, this day is designated to registering any incoming first grader who will be new to the district for the 2018–2019 school year. Registrations will occur at any time throughout the school day at a resident’s neighborhood/home school. No appointments are necessary.
Local First Lego League team lands spot at international tournament
The Lucky Bananas, a local First Lego League team comprised of fifth to eighth graders from Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Mt. Laurel and Marlton, recently won the Southern New Jersey FLL Regional Championship at Rowan University. The spectrum of intelligence, teamwork and technology demonstrated by the Bananas has led to their inaugural FIRST Championship in Detroit, scheduled for April 25 to 28.
Evesham Police seek information on woman who allegedly stole from purse at Chickie’s and Pete’s
On March 28, Evesham Police say a woman allegedly stole a victim’s wallet from her purse as it hung off the back of her chair while dining at Chickie’s and Pete’s, 25 S Route 73 in Marlton. Police say the woman then allegedly used the victim’s credit cards on the same date to purchase items from a Target store in Voorhees Township. Police have also released tips as to signs purse thieves look for.
