Evesham Police find allegedly stolen bike and crossbow when alleged thief hit by car
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Sept. 25, officers with the Evesham Township Police Department responded to the area of Route 70 and Route 73 for a bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle. Investigation determined that the bicyclist was allegedly at fault and the vehicle had the right of way. The male was also found to be in possession of a crossbow, which along with the bike, police say could allegedly be as a result of a possible burglary/theft.
‘You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown’ show to feature Marlton resident as Sally Brown
The beloved “Peanuts” gang comes to life as Mainstage Center for the Arts presents “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” from Oct. 12 through Oct. 14 at the Dennis Flyer Theater at Camden County College in Blackwood. In addition to Marlton resident Kaylee Corrato as Charlie Brown’s sister Sally Brown, the show will follow one full day in the lives of Charlie Brown (John Koza of Mantua) and many of the other “Peanuts” gang.
‘Choppin’ for Charity’ event to benefit Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey Oct. 9
Locals looking to benefit the Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey military support group can do so on Oct. 9 with a “Choppin’ for Charity” event organized and hosted by the South Jersey Young Professionals Association. General admission tickets for this event are set at $45, which includes access to axe throwing and light fare. BYOB is allowed.
Evesham Police seek pair who allegedly stole woman’s wallet at steakhouse
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Sept. 13 at approximately 6:16 p.m., Evesham Police say a man and woman allegedly stole a woman’s wallet from her purse while she was dining at the Fleming’s Steakhouse, located at 500 N. Route 73. Police say the pair then allegedly used the victim’s credit cards on the same date at a Bloomingdale’s and Apple Store in Philadelphia
Marlton United Methodist to use first ‘Blessing of the Animals’ to engage with community
The Marlton United Methodist Church will use an upcoming “Blessing of the Animals” event to spend time with the Marlton community while also celebrating the community’s animals and their interdependence with humans. Known as the patron saint of animals and ecology, many churches in the United States honor St. Francis by scheduling special days in early October each year where members of the community can have their pets blessed.
