The Taste of Evesham just got a little more star power.
Camden-raised chef Aaron McCargo Jr. will join over twenty restaurants and caterers on Main St. in Marlton this Sunday at the Taste of Evesham. The winner of Season four of “The Next Food Network Star” and host of three seasons of “Big Daddy’s House” on the Food Network will sign his new cookbook, “Simply Done, Well Done” from 2 to 3 p.m.
McCargo’s local connections are strong; he was a chef at TGIFriday’s and the Marlton Tavern as well as several other fine and casual dining restaurants in New Jersey.
Sponsored by Nash Wealth Management Group, this year’s Taste of Evesham is expected to draw a crowd of over 2,000 attendees. From 1–4pm, visitors can stroll Main St. and try specialties from local restaurants, sample beer and wine, and enjoy live music and cooking demonstrations for one low entry price.
Adults 21 and over are $15 with wine and beer tasting included, adults 13 and up are $10 without beverage tastings, kids 4 to 12 are $5, and children under 4 are free. McCargo’s book will be available onsite for cash or check purchase for $20. Signing is free.
