During the overnight hours of Thursday, July 14 into the morning hours of Friday, July 15, an unknown person caused damaged to religious statues outside of the Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, located on Willowbend Road, Marlton, according to township police.
The unknown person caused damaged to the statue of the Virgin Mary as well as to the statue of Saint Joan of Arc.
A witness described the suspect as being a white male with a thin build, approximately six-feet tall, in his late 20s to early 30s, with long shoulder length brown wavy hair, operating a tan or beige colored older model import style vehicle with square taillights.
The suspect male was observed in the parking lot of the church on Thursday, July 14, at approximately 9:30 p.m.
This crime is being investigated along with the Cherry Hill Police Department, the Mt. Laurel Police Department, the Camden Police Department and the FBI, due to other similar type crimes that has occurred in those respective jurisdictions.
