Members of council honored resident and Evesham Township School District Board of Education member Joe Fisicaro Sr. for being appointed to serve on the state board of education by Gov. Chris Christie.
“Joe has selflessly dedicated himself at the local level, having held positions on the Evesham Township Board of Education, the Evesham Township Historical Preservation Commission for 18 years and the Evesham Township Municipal Utilities Authority since 2003. He is also a long serving member of the Marlton Recreation Council and one of the founders of the Evesham Celebrations Committee, a group of dedicated residents, devoted to the promotion of local events and the spirit of community within Evesham Township,” Mayor Randy Brown said. “on behalf of the Township Council and all the citizens of Evesham Township, congratulate Joe Fisicaro, Sr. on his appointment to the New Jersey State Board of Education, recognize him as a leading contributor to the success of the local and regional school districts, and look forward to his positive impact on the progress and strengthening of the New Jersey Public School System.”
