A rash of burglaries has hit Evesham Township

Over the past several weeks 15 motor vehicles have been burglarized while parked in commercial parking lots along the Route 73 corridor in Evesham Township, said Lieutenant Walt Miller.

The vehicles have been parked at the Outback Steakhouse/Carrabba’s, 903 South Route 73, Fleming’s Steakhouse/Bonefish Grill, 500 North Route 73, Redstone Grill, 500 South Route 73, and Champp’s Americana/Spaghetti House, 101 South Route 73 in Marlton Crossings.

During these vehicle burglaries various items of valuables have been stolen from the interior of the vehicles, to include money, electronics equipment, jewelry and tools, the total value of the stolen property is in excess of $10,000. Entry to the vehicles have been gained through force by either smashing the vehicle’s window or by “punching” the vehicle’s door lock.
