Good eats at Taste of Evesham
The Fourth Annual Taste of Evesham will kick off on Sunday, May 20 on Main Street in Evesham from 1 to 4 p.m.
As always, the Evesham Celebrations Foundation, the award-winning township group, organized the event along with title sponsor Nash Wealth Management Group of Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC.
The massive town-wide celebration of food, music and entertainment will feature some of the best restaurants and local music groups for visitors to enjoy.
Tickets for adults 21 and older who wish to participate in a beer and wine tasting are $15. Tickets for all visitors 13 and older are $10, while kids from age 4 to 12 are just $5.
Anyone younger than 4 can attend the event free of charge.
Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
This year, ECF has brought in Mikado Japanese Steak and Sushi, J-Dogs Catering and Amusements, Marcello’s Ristorante, Susie Q’s Frozen Yogurt and More, Sal’s Pizzaworks, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Classic Cake, Ciconte’s Italia Pizzeria, Dubh Linn Square Pub, Whole Foods Market, Hard Rock Café, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Marco’s Restaurant and Banquets, Rita’s Water Ice, Bonefish Grill, Brio Tuscan Grille, Marlton Tavern, Good Foods To Go, Maria’s Mom’s Italian Cookie Cupboard and Starbucks to provide samples of their food to visitors.
Two stages of live entertainment will be featured, as well as a DJ booth with local DJ Dylan Johnson spinning tunes all day long. The main stage will feature the five-piece MarlTones band from 1 to 2:15 p.m. From 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. the cover band NEXT will play hits from several decades of music.
On the second stage — located in the lot to the left of the Marlton Tavern — one man band Dave Murray will perform from 1 to 2:15 p.m. and Joe O’Brien will perform from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.
As always, the event will feature live cooking demonstrations. Chef Karen Docimo of Karen’s Chef Du Jour Personal Chef Service will showcase a demonstration from 1:15 to 1:40 p.m. Chef Fran Davis will also present “two condiments every home cook should learn how to make” from 1:55 to 2:20 p.m. Finally, Whole Foods Market representatives will show visitors how to make a great spring salad from 2:35 to 3 p.m.
