Please join us for 4 Quarters for a Cure on Friday, Oct. 26 at Cherokee High School for the varsity football game against Pennsauken.
As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are planning a charity fundraising and calling it “4 Quarters for a Cure.” The event will take place Friday night, Oct. 26, before and during the home Cherokee Football game against Pennsauken.
We have designed T-shirts that will be sold through the Cheerleading Boosters, Fifth Quarter Club and Band Booster organizations in the weeks prior to the game. It is our hope to create a “pink out,” and that all Cherokee Fans will wear pink to the game on Oct. 26 in support of this event.
In addition to the T-shirt sales, there are many activities planned for that night. We will have a large table set up to sell various items to raise awareness of the Breast Cancer Prevention movement. There will also be face painting, a bake sale, and a special second half 50/50 drawn during the fourth quarter of the game. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Please come out and join us!
The Cherokee Cheerleading Boosters, the Cherokee Band Boosters, and the 5th Quarter Club are sponsoring the event.
