Burlington County Library System to present ‘Fall Friday Nights’ performance starting Sept. 21

Five performance will take place, with tickets set at $10 per person, per show.

“Fall Friday Nights,” a series of performances presented live at the Burlington County Library, will kick off Sept. 21 with a tribute to Carlos Santana, followed by four shows this season.

Tickets, which cost just $10 per person, per show, are on sale now and seating is limited.

Introduced last year, the library system’s “Fall Friday Nights” series takes library brings a mix of talent to the library’s 250-seat auditorium in Westampton.

Library officials say this special programming, which explores the history, contributions, and roots of some of the most iconic performers to hit the American music scene, features something for everyone.

During this series, music lovers are invited to sit back, relax and tap their toes to a selection of songs made famous by: Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra; the legends of Motown; Linda Ronstadt; and the Beatles.

The Burlington County Library is located at 5 Pioneer Blvd. off Woodlane Road in Westampton. All shows begin at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:50 p.m. For tickets, visit the BCLS website at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

The 2018 Fall Friday Nights Schedule is as follows:

Sept. 21 — Inca Band — A Tribute to Carlos Santana. This group of musicians performs a tribute to one of the most influential guitarists the music industry has ever known. Santana and his band became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s for pioneering a fusion of rock and Latin American jazz and released a string of successful albums through the early 1980s.

Oct. 19 — Lou Dottoli — A Tribute to Tony Bennett, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. Three-time award winning entertainer Lou Dottoli presents a tribute to music legends Tony Bennet, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra as he performs a variety of their songs and show-tunes.

Oct. 26 — To The Max — Motown Legends and More. These local artists perform a selection of hits from the Motown era, including songs by Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin and more. A tribute to the best of the era, the show features a dancing brass section, choreographed performances and energy.

Nov. 2 — Ronstadt Revue — A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt. Every member of this band is a musician dedicated to recreating the sounds and vibe of a live Linda Ronstadt performance.

Nov. 16 — Britishmania — Beatles Tribute Band. Take a memorable trip back to the 1960s to experience the sound and stage persona of The Beatles. Britishmania follows the careers of these innovators of rock and roll, beginning with the band’s Ed Sullivan Show era, followed by the Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road/Let it Be eras.
