Cioce officially started his term on Sep. 1. An installation ceremony was held on Sept. 14.
The Rowan College at Burlington County community gathered for the installation of Michael A. Cioce as the sixth president of Rowan College at Burlington County on Friday, Sept. 14.
The ceremony at the Mt. Laurel campus featured remarks from RCBC Foundation Chair Henry Gosik, Burlington County Freeholder Director Kate Gibbs and RCBC Board Chair George Nyikita.
Cioce, who officially started his term on Sep. 1, has been serving as acting president and vice president of enrollment management and student success since fall 2017.
Cioce first joined RCBC in 2010 as director of financial aid. He was subsequently promoted to executive director of enrollment management and then vice president of enrollment management and student success.
The first in his family to attend college, Cioce completed his doctoral studies in higher education administration at the University of Pennsylvania in May 2018.
He also holds master’s degrees of Business Administration (MBA) and Financial Management from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree from Marywood University.
