Operation Yellow Ribbon Pool Party-BBQ fundraiser set for Aug. 23 at Chartwell Swim Club
Requests from the brave women and men deployed in harm’s way for care packages are at an all time high for Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey. Help OYRSJ continue to raise the morale of those deployed to Afghanistan and supporting Operation Enduring Freedom with joining OYRSJ for a “Summer Bash Pool Party/BBQ to Support The Troops” on Saturday Aug. 23 at Chartwell Swim Club from 2–7 p.m. All funds raised will be used for care package shipping expenses. In 2013, OYRSJ shipped over 33,000 pounds of treats and loving reminders of support from home and OYRSJ is well on the way to easily breaking through that amount thanks to all OYRSJ’s great supporters and friends.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Dave Silver at [email protected] or (856) 986 7587. Tickets will be sold at the door as well but purchasing them in advance is most appreciated and recommended and helps OYRSJ with planning the event. Cash, check, Paypal and credit card is accepted.
What better way to show support of the troops then by spending up to five hours enjoying fun, swimming and food including entertainment by DJ Marc Shaw at the private facilities of Chartwell Swim Club?
