Evesham Police arrest Delran driver three times over the legal alcohol limit
The following information comes from Lt. Joseph Friel of the Evesham Township Police Department:
On March 16 at 10:30 p.m., an officer patrolling conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 after becoming aware that a driver with a suspended license was operating a vehicle.
During the stop the officer observed a small bag of cocaine that was discarded on the roadway by the female passenger.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, 18 bags of heroin and crack cocaine were discovered along with drug paraphernalia.
The driver was also found to be three times over the legal alcohol limit.
Arrested:
A male, age 51, of Delran, was charged with third degree possession of Heroin, third degree possession of Crack Cocaine, a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia and DWI.
A female, age 20, of Hainesport, was charged with third degree possession of Heroin, third degree possession of Crack Cocaine, and a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia.
