Burlington County Famers’ Market to Host ‘Christmas in July’ on July 11

The Board of Chosen Freeholders and Marine Corps League Detachment №695 are proud to announce a “Christmas in July” celebration at the Burlington County Farmers Market on Saturday, July 11.

The Marine Corps League Detachment №695 from Burlington, will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for their 2015 Toys for Tots toy drive to be distributed during the holidays. In the past year, MCLD №695 has collected over 42,000 toys which were distributed to more than 13,000 children in Burlington County.

Santa will make a special guest appearance at 11:30 a.m., arriving in style, in a red convertible guided by his “reindeer” from the Warriors’ Watch Riders motorcycle group. Warriors’ Watch provides motorcycle escorts for military units returning from war, for units deploying, and for individual warriors coming home or going off. http://www.warriorswatch.org/

The celebration will get started at 9 a.m. with the music of the John Bryne Band — a market favorite.

The Burlington County Farmers Market is located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown. The market is open 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. every Saturday through October. For a complete list of all vendors and upcoming programs go to: www.burlcoagcenter.com or call (856) 642–3850
