Evesham police arrest pair of New York men on way to concert with 12 Nitrous Oxide tanks

The following comes from Evesham Police Lt. Joseph Friel:

On Aug. 12 at 4:30 p.m., officers in the DDACTS Zone quickly responded to the Walmart Store, 150 Route 70 for a shoplifting in progress.

Officers located the two males reported to be involved in the shoplifting walking in the parking lot.

The investigation led to a search of the suspect’s vehicle, resulting in the discovery of 12 Nitrous Oxide Tanks, thousands of party balloons, and heroin.

Arrested:

A male, age 30, of New York was charged with third degree possession of heroin, and disorderly persons offense for possession of toxic chemicals, drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $5,000 bail.

A male, age 49, of New York was charged with a disorderly persons offense for possession of toxic chemicals and drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $5,000 bail.
