The following report is on file with the Evesham Police Department:
On Jan. 9 at 2 a.m., an Evesham Police Officer stopped a vehicle on Route 70 and Radnor Boulevard after observing the vehicle involved in suspicious activity.
During the investigation, Evesham Police K-9 Spike was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics.
K-9 Spike was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.
A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of methamphetamines, 42 ecstasy pills, a BB gun pistol, and daggers.
Arrested:
A male, age 47, of Philadelphia was charged with third degree possession of methamphetamines, third degree possession of ecstasy, and four counts of third degree possession of an unlawful weapon. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $35,000 bail.
