The following comes from the Evesham Township Police Department:
On May 15 at 5 a.m., an Evesham Officer conducting enforcement in the township’s Data Driven Approach to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) zone stopped an unregistered vehicle on Route 73.
During the investigation of the stop the driver was arrested after the officer observed narcotic paraphernalia in plain-view.
A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of 11 bags of crack cocaine.
DDACTS is a crime and traffic analysis program developed by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration.
Arrested:
A male, age 44, of Lakewood, was charged with third degree possession of crack cocaine and a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
