Evesham Police say citizen tip leads to surveillance and arrest for alleged heroin distribution

Police say they arrested two people and seized $3,000 in cash.

The following report is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On June 17, Evesham Police detectives and officers observed suspected narcotic activity in the unit block of Gladstone Road during an undercover surveillance detail that police say was ongoing as a result of a tip from a concerned citizen.

During the investigation, police say officers assigned to the detail determined that a resident and a male from Camden City were involved in the distribution of heroin.

Police say they arrested both parties were arrested and police seized $3,000 in cash.

Arrested:

A male, age 36, of Camden, was charged with third-degree distribution of heroin. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail with no bail.

A female, age 32, of Marlton, was charged with third-degree possession of crack cocaine and a disorderly persons offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on her own recognizance.
