Kids ages 9 to 17 can paint stones with encouraging words to make their world a better place.
Evesham’s teens and tweens are invited to stop by the Evesham Library on Friday, July 7, at 3 p.m. for the library’s “Encourage Your World Stones” teen and tween crafting event.
According to the library, this event is based on the the Kindness Rocks Project.
Teens and tweens ages 9 to 17 are invited to jump in and create some encouragement for the world around them by painting stones as part of the library’s summer reading activities.
According to the library, goals of the project include inspiring others through randomly placed rocks along the way and recruit every person who stumbles upon a rock to join in the pursuit as people inspire others through random acts of kindness.
Those interested in attending the library event can bring their own stone or use on provided by the library.
Teens and tweens will paint and write encouraging words on a stone then take it into the world and share it.
