Evesham Library to present talk on transgender and gender non-conforming individuals on July 18

The talk will detail government efforts to reveal authentic gender identity and to control individuals’ gender presentation.

The Evesham Library will present “Beyond Binaries: Justice for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming People” by Kiki Jamieson, president of The Fund for New Jersey, on Tuesday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at the library located at 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton.

This program is free and open to the public and registration is required.

The program is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

This talk will describe government efforts to reveal authentic gender identity and to control individuals’ gender presentation.

Kiki Jamieson, Ph.D., is the president of The Fund for New Jersey, a private grant-making foundation that provides support for nonprofit organizations working for the benefit of the people of New Jersey.
