Runners invited to register for 2nd Annual Marlton Turkey Trot 5K Run on Thanksgiving Day
One of Evesham’s newer community events is coming back for a second year this Thanksgiving when runners line up along Main Street for the 2nd Annual Marlton Turkey Trot 5K Run. Sponsored by the Evesham Celebrations Foundation, the event invites residents to kick-off the holiday by getting in some last-minute exercise on the morning of Nov. 23 before heading home to enjoy turkey and other Thanksgiving favorites.
Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education swears in new Medford representative
The Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education gained a new member last week when Allison Eckel was sworn in as the board’s new Medford Township representative. The board appointed Eckel to fill the vacancy left by former board member and Medford representative Dr. William Bisignano Jr., who retired from the board in September after 20 years of service.

Roxanne Ardary of Long & Foster Real Estate has announced the opening of the 2017 “Marlton’s Best Christmas Lights Contest.” With this contest, Marlton residents are invited to show off their Christmas creativity for the whole town to see. Locals who wish to enter this contest need only simply email a photo of a decorated home when it’s lit, and Roxanne Ardary and Long & Foster Real Estate will showcase the home online for all to see. Evesham Historical Society annual Green Sale set for Dec. 8 and Dec. 9
The Evesham Historical Society’s annual Green Sale is scheduled to take place on Friday, Dec. 8, from noon to 3 p.m. and again on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be located at the historic John Inskeep House, located at 10 Madison Court in Marlton. Fresh centerpieces, wreaths, grave blankets, baked goods, crafts and more will be available for purchase during the sale.
Evesham Police continue ‘No Shave November‘ campaign to raise money for cancer awareness
Throughout November, more than 70 officers with the Evesham Township Police Department are participating in the “No Shave November” campaign. The annual campaign asks supporters to grow mustaches and beards during November to raise funds and bring more attention to issues dealing with men’s health, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide rates.
