Get schooled on ‘Native Plants’ Jan. 11

HSSJ Member Chris Espinosa will be presenting Native Plants: What Are They, Why Does it Matter, Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m., for an entertaining and informative photo journey with our favorite native and invasive plants that we thought we knew.

Learn why “Grammom’s” honeysuckle changed the plant and animal structure of your back yard. Chris will be sharing his discoveries, thoughts and ideas on how to use native plants in the garden.

The meeting will take place at the Cherry Hill Community Center, 820 Mercer St.

Admission is free, and visitors are welcome.
