Legal marketing expert and Cherry Hill resident Kimberly Alford Rice recently assumed the position of editor-in-chief of American Lawyer Media’s Marketing the Law Firm. The publication is a nationally-based monthly print and online periodical which focuses on high level topics to increase a law firm’s marketing programs and results.
Legal marketing authority of 20 years, Rice is principal of KLA Marketing Associates, a business development advisory firm that helps lawyers and professional services providers to generate business and win new clients. Bringing decades of experience as a professional services marketer, strategist, organizational development specialist, project manager and entrepreneur to bear on behalf of her clients, Rice provides practical solutions for professional service providers’ most challenging business development issues.
Prior to forming KLA Marketing Associates, Rice served in senior marketing positions in numerous Philadelphia area law firms in which she developed and led the firms’ strategic business development and marketing programs.
Among her professional activities, Rice is a member of the international trade group Legal Marketing Association (Philadelphia Chapter, Board member); Delaware Valley Law Firm Marketing Group; American, Philadelphia and Camden Bar Association; and eWomen Network. She has published in journals such as The Legal Intelligencer, New Jersey Law Journal, Marketing the Law Firm and speaks frequently to legal and business groups on a wide variety of business development and marketing topics.
