Recycling truck fire closes Marlkess Road in Cherry Hill

The Cherry Hill Fire Department reported the fire on its social media accounts on Monday morning.

A recycling truck fire in Cherry Hill Township has had Marlkress Road shut down for a large portion of Monday.

According to reports from the Cherry Hill Fire Department, a large recycling truck caught fire near the area of Kitchen Kapers on Marlkress Road Monday morning. The fire was reportedly brought under control shortly after 10 a.m.

The fire has caused Marlkress Road and surrounding streets to be closed for an extended period of time. Cherry Hill Police announced that the road had re-opened around 3 p.m.
