Concerns over Wexford Drive redevelopment mark Cherry Hill Planning Board meeting
An application was granted to JJN Real Estate Holdings LLC to turn an old KinderCare into medical offices for Advocare South Jersey Pediatrics. About 40 residents came out to voice concerns about the project at last Monday’s Cherry Hill Township Planning Board meeting. A number of changes were made to the original application to help ease some of the resident’s concerns.
Cherry Hill Fire District №13 shifting elections to November in 2019
Cherry Hill voters will no longer head to the polls in February to vote in the Cherry Hill Fire District №13 elections. In December, the Cherry Hill Board of Fire Commissioners opted to move their elections to November, coinciding with a new state law. With the new election date, residents will not vote on the fire district’s annual budget as long as the tax increase doesn’t exceed 2 percent.
Cherry Hill East grads following their passion for film
For three Cherry Hill East 2012 graduates, filmmaking is more than just art. It’s about making a difference in the community. Scott Dombro, Jason Zoblin and Aaron Campbell founded their own film production company, QueenAnne Productions, in 2017. Since then, they have created a number of short films and documentaries and have also helped other aspiring filmmakers in their careers.

This week’s featured athlete was Cherry Hill East swimmer Grace Yoon, a state champion in multiple events and key part of the Cougars’ lineup. Cherry Hill resident, cancer survivor involved in new Komen event
Komen Philadelphia had a major announcement last Tuesday when they announced the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia More Than Pink Walk will replace the Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure. Cherry Hill resident Melissa Landay is serving as a co-chair of this new initiative. Landay shared her story and talked about her role in the event in an interview with The Sun.
